On Stereogum

I especially appreciated Ann's helpful hints ("That's the intro. It's his intro").
But clearly I favored the old man who really didn't care about the music at all, and in fact only wandered in when he caught sight of the Thin Mints.

Part of the reason I like them so much was because of how completely raw they sounded. With each new release, they add on more and more gloss...

Personally, I'm ok with this song (although admittedly I harbor a soft spot for 80s synth-ness), but it does make me a little wary for the whole album. I don't think they can survive if this is all they've got.

Oh, Grimmone.
You have so much to learn about Perez Hilton.

He gets in with every two bit skank who generates an iota of attention, takes a picture, and then votes for the other guy.

No, really- you don't even make sense. All celebrities are good celebrities. Just because he took a picture with McCain's daughters doesn't mean he's voting for them.

I DID IT! The swine flu I've been laid up in bed with has clearly begun it's long, painful track to my brain, because I sat through all of them. Welcome to the last circle of hell, self.

Listening to them singing Viva La Vida makes me (temporarily) not hate Coldplay, if only because they provided the opportunity for these kids so sing it... so much better, too.

My favorite part was the guitarist's two-fingered "rawr" at the end!

I fucking love Kenny Powers, and goddammit, I love those queers on FNL, too.

Coach Taylor don't play no games.

I know that someone has already mentioned it, but Because I Said So is a must-see.
Really. So many things that are wrong about it...

But truly, The Last Kiss is hellish and also pointless. Review please.

It's slightly more difficult for me to hate Hugh Jackman after seeing his little opening skit tonight...

Luckily not impossible, though.

There were a lot of things I was going to comment about, but I just saw a picture of Gabe.

Gabe is hot.
I am a little speechless.
