yeah, all those people who grew up in the 80s and the 65 million people who have (legally) bought Thriller really came out of nowhere.

I agree with Mike. My mom sent me an email earlier tonight saying she couldn't believe all of this public support and "reverence" of a child molester. This made me irrationally angry, especially given that he probably WAS a child molester. But he was also a defining part of my childhood and, if you think about it, my teenage years and even now, given the amount of artists he influenced.
Which is why I'm choosing to focus on the other stuff, like how my high school BFF and I would have dance parties to "Thriller" (in 2001), how "Billie Jean" is appropriate for almost any playlist, and how I can still listen to Dirty Diana and Man in the Mirror on repeat without getting sick of them.
I'll deal with the other stuff later. But for now, the man was a legend and changed the face of pop music forever. RIP.

The part about his Mom was really sad. My friend kept texting me saying she was convinced he was in the middle of a nervous breakdown.

The music sucked & there was no Sue (WHAT) & i refuse to believe that many girls are crushing on a terrble fake-rapper with ridiculous hair who is stupid enough to believe his "pregnant" wife can't be touched bc she has some kind of infection on her stomach, but I thought Quinn's speech to her parents was touching.

uggggh, this show. i have never wanted to feed Serena a bullet milkshake more than I did last night. "I think I might be about to be involved with a married man." YEAH, AND I CAN THINK OF ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING!!! Nate: "He's still a married man, you're about to cross a line." Serena: "That line just became a lot more blurry." UHHH, NO. NO IT DID NOT.
Also:

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Wine + "you're my personal brand of heroin" = me laughing myself right off the couch.

Raise your hand if you had no idea Puddle of Mudd still existed

Say what you will about how horribly bad Twilight is (and it is), but down a bottle of wine first and it suddenly becomes just hilarious. Until you realize that you just drank a bottle of wine alone watching a movie reserved for 14-year-olds, and then it's just sad.

GABE, LISTEN TO ME:
I was called in to my boss's office around 6:00 pm today. I found her with a half-empty bottle of wine in her hand, and she asked me if I liked the Twilight movie. Being a little scared for my life, I answered "you know what...I don't know if I liked it, but I was entertained."
And I was entertained. Now, granted, I was also drunk. But just try and not fall off your couch laughing at ~you're my own personal brand of heroin~ or ~hold on tight, spidermoney~

oh and EW at showing Jenny as a possibility for the threesome. I know she may look like a coked-out whore now, but she's still only 16 (15? 17? who cares?).

Ugh, this show is just like the OC. The first season was great, the second started going downhill but still had it's moments, and the third is Why Even Bother Town, Population: Gossip Girl.
Hopefully this means Vanessa and Rufus and Jenny will be killed in the season finale and the we get a decent fourth (and last) season.
