The #10 google trend at around 11:30 was "Alpo". That is unsettling, 1) it means kids who had no idea what Alpo was were watching (kanye obviously... kids: STOP WATCHING! go play in traffic or something - at 10pm - anything is better) 2) the #1 google trend was NOT "Jay Leno worst" as I was hoping upon hope that it would be. (#1 was "Patrick Swayze died" and #2 was "no one puts baby in a corner" - okay fine.)("Jay Leno worst" didn't even make the list - not fine.)

oh thank god. I was starting to think the "future me" (the one that discovers time travel) was unraveling the space-time continuum. all is right with the world.

I named that tune in like 4 words. by the time jim said "Toby's Great" it was hard to concentrate though because that kitten is pretty f'ing cute.

fair enough, but considering they are all part of the same series, success has nothing to do with the issue, which is, which is a better film, 3 and 4 can duke it out amongst themselves to determine the #3 and #4 positions, but this is for #1 and #2, and to go from Alien and its quiet terror, to then ALIENS which was just more regurgitated soldier-action genre so popular in the 80s but with a slight sci-fi bent, it was just a slap in the face to the original. I am not saying that it was a wretched piece of garbage, it just had nothing on the original. I put it firmly at #2.

Alien IS better than Aliens. I have been saying that for years and all my friends think I am an idiot.
ALIEN is a perfect blend of horror and sci-fi. ALIENS is what? a bunch of space marines and polymer plastic. fuck off with that shit. the truth lies in the taglines, really... ALIEN: "In space no one can hear you scream"* (thought provoking, and a little bit terrifying) ALIENS: "This time its war" (Booooorrring!) I rest my case.

when I was a kid, I had a for real Mortimer Marker. it made all the sounds and everything. somewhere in the past 30 years it has been lost to time. I hate myself everyday for not having the foresight and understanding about what would be "collectible" and "awesome to still have when you are an old man" c'est la vie.

I just realized I sounded like a jerk. allow me to clarify... watch the video and don't close it after the first 2 minute interviewette (?) it automatically starts playing all of those other pieces from the whole interview that lindsay said were just in the "extended text part"
no reading necessary!
