more ranting please! "love, actually" gives me the creeps and makes me feel hostile instead of warm and fuzzy, but somehow it makes me feel like I'M the creep. i hate that movie!

also, it was glossed over in the show, but how sad is it that rian's first kiss with a woman, EVER, was a peck in a nightclub, with a skank, on vh1?
tragic.

those foggy goggles just made my week!
i will miss rian, his awkwardly spelled name and his compelling captions ("still sleeps with stuffed animal" is my favorite.) his goofy sweetness actually justified the heretofore inexplicable use of "somewhere only we know" over every goodbye montage.

agreed. i gave up trying to figure out the whole first paragraph and just moved on.
on the hubris subject, i wish they could figure out a way to promote the show that didn't involve the contestants doing karate chops and tj maxx commercial poses saying how they're going to "dice the competiion". especially when they run them after the constestant in question has been eliminated. it's embarassing!

i love how he's worried about portion control! if you've resorted to squirting beer up your ass to get drunk then losing your balance and hitting your head is most likely the goal. death would be a blessing.

yes, i second What Dreams May Come. i cannot emphasize strongly enough how completely insufferable that movie is. it is probably sarah palin's favorite movie of all time.

my favorite part of this season so far was that the prize for winning the first challenge was "a secret seduction accessory from mystery's personal collection", and it turned out to be a skinny, anemic looking black feather boa.

i'm pretty sure chris eigeman was on "gilmore girls" for a bit as well. so was sebastian bach, bizarrely. none of this bodes well for ed westwick, who isn't even interesting or cool now.

that reminds me of my favorite steven wright joke - "don't settle for shampoo. demand the real poo!"
