On Stereogum

"Fun Stuff" is a song formerly known as "Last Tango In Brooklyn" with more noise added in. "Swim" is fantastic, definitely can't wait for a new album.

If you limit your list to anything less than seven digits, someone's going to bitch what you put on it and what you left on. No need for the laundry list.

I may in fact be the only one glad to see Ida Maria in here - it isn't as divisive or as memorable as a lot of the year's big stuff, but there's not a bad song on the album. "Stella" was one of my favorites last year and she delivered plenty more.

A fantastic song. It'll probably end up one of my favorites once we can figure out what the hell he's saying.

Respects, man.

The saddest thing is that an entire generation will remember him primarily for his, er, alleged crimes and not for the fact that (albeit with more than a little help from Quincy Jones), he was one of the greatest pop artists there will ever be.

Working in a theater means I didn't actually, you know, get to see it, but I caught the end, and it pissed me off.

No funeral scene = fail. It's what gives the movie it's closure! They completely crapped out on the ending, between the battle and the funeral. I half expect them to cut the Battle of Hogwarts to five minutes, even with a split seventh book.
