The sexism is what's keeping me from totally loving this movie. It was completely enjoyable to watch, particularly in a theater with a sold out crowd, but it would have been better without the sexism and racism.

If the film had done what a film like Knocked Up did, which was develop complex, female characters who were as likable and humorous as they were bitchy, then it wouldn't have been so bad. Instead, the 3 main female characters are either flat (like the bride), unrealistically naggy (Ed Helm's ladyfriend) or just a boring, ditzy plot device (Heather Graham). I recognize that it's a little hard to compare the two films since The Hangover's story doesn't allow for female leads, and I'm not saying every film needs female leads like in Knocked Up. But even I Love You, Man had likable female characters with limited screen time aside from Rashida Jones. I'm just saying a buddy film like this CAN be made without going for the obvious jokes and sexist character portrayals.

But no yeah. I really liked it. ((

"Women need to start making better choices in the men they pick to have sex with, and preferably wait for the stability of marriage before bringing a new life into this world."

LOL what? Yes, let us pin this all on the women because that is how sex and relationships work. They pick Ds out of a line-up to F and then are all WHOOPS my bad, let me just have this kid right quick and then watch it go to jail in 20 years. Totally.

Also, my mother DID wait to marry before having me and still ended up a single mother so nice fuckin' advice there, Olivia Diaz (definitely not your real name. Nice try, Ann). Maybe instead our government should hold the absent fathers accountable for their irresponsibility instead of blaming mothers for something they didn't choose. Because contrary to what Ann Coulter thinks, most single mothers aren't filthy rich celebrities who decide to pop out a few babies to preoccupy their downtime while on set.

Also, fuck you.

This is late but...what? So many things wrong with this comment. But mostly its your grouping of Paranoid Park and Leprechaun 4: In Space together that is most offensive. That's just a really bizarre combination. PP was well received by critics and had a limited release. Leprechaun 4: In Space is, well, Leprechaun 4: In Space. Neither of them would qualify for WMOAT anyway. Neither features at least one B-list actor and L4 didn't have a theatrical release direct (I can't believe I took the time to look that up...).

Gabe's groping of the fruit. Also - this Youtube comment from the second man style video:

"is it me? or does the gabe dude looks like the singer from system of a down?"

Lead singer of System of a Down is the new Eric Bana.

I second Sweet November. I was forced to watch it on a bus ride from ny to dc. It was so awful. Here's the plot synopsis:

"Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves) is a typical businessman who devotes his life to his career. He meets Sara (Charlize Theron), a woman very different from anyone else he has ever met. His arrogance and ignorance leads to her failing her DMV test and she decides to track him down to make him pay for what he did. She beguiles him and convinces him to spend a month with her on the promise that she will change his life."

This has WMOAT written all over it.

I second The Black Dahlia. It is the worst/is perfect for THFTWMOAT. Big stars, big director, and takes itself very seriously.
