It’s like the Omen mixed with Black Swan!

I will probably buy these stamps. Thank you for helping me pick out a Father’s Day gift.

The UK Law & Order episodes are remakes of US Law & Order. Looks like the same thing with Russian SVU remaking US SVU. Doesn’t make it any less awesome. Between this link and the Law & Order & Food tumblr, this week has been great for Law & Order related items.

I have been watching the reruns on tv lately even though I own all the DVDs. I am watching it right now. Watch Veronica Mars all the time? I’m almost there.

Definitely watch Southland. Now if only TNT would rescue Veronica Mars.

Good call. I thought of him, but noticed that suggestion would mean I wanted two prequels about teenage thieves.

Was Daniel Day Lewis ever adopted by an Indian tribe? Because he was pretty damn awesome in Last of the Mohicans.

Frankly my dear, I don’t give a battleship.

The thing that bothers me the most about Gilmore Girls is that Palladino said she always knew what the last four words of the series would be. This might have been a bullshit publicity stunt, but it makes me think she had a specific vision for the Gilmores’ future that didn’t include the nonsense of the final season.

Also, people (on IMDB) complained about the finale of season 6, saying she purposely left the characters in a mess to screw up the following season for those that took her place. I don’t believe that and think that if the show would have stayed in her hands, the show’s drama would have been handled well.

Bania thinks Leonardo should still take him to Mendy’s. Soup doesn’t count as a meal.

If you don’t feel like putting real shoes on, Siri can find restaurants in your area to deliver soup. Ask Zooey about it.

The first season was on NBC, but it was cancelled after only 7 episodes. I believe that a second season (only 6 episodes) was filmed, but never aired. Then, TNT came to the rescue, aired it from the beginning, and now it is going into its 5th season.

Seasons 3 and 4 are only 10 episodes each, so if you were interested, it wouldn’t take long to catch up.

I saw an episode or two on NBC, but wasn’t really that into it. TNT had some really great marketing for it’s return, and now I consider it one of my favorite shows.

TNT renewed Southland!!!

Wait, so it’s not Maid in Jersey – like a TV version of Maid in Manhattan?

The upfront article I really want to see:

HBO
Detective show set in Neptune, CA. Written by Rob Thomas. Starring Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra.

But ABC has Modern Family!

Other than that, I can’t say I watch anything on that channel. Happy Endings seemed ok. I tried to watch Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 (worst and clunkiest name for a tv show in history), but the only mildly funny parts are with James Van Der Beek, and those parts are not funny enough or frequent enough to recommend it.

I’m still very confused by the casting department of this movie. Kristen Stewart is pretty, but the idea that her beauty will “surpass the queen” is ridiculous when the queen is Charlize Theron.

I like how they refer to her as “the Serendipity star.” Is she still promoting that?
