I enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom, but I very much loved Fantastic Mr. Fox, and I couldn’t help thinking that Moonrise Kingdom might have been a better movie if it had been made with puppets. I mean this in a totally unironic manner. I think most of the problems I have with the Wes Anderson Aesthetic are resolved if the movies are not intended to be about real people.

So in the Detroit area, after Community, the local weatherman had a half hour special called EXTREME WEATHER! that appeared to be all about how global warming is not actually real? Please tell me somebody else saw this. It was nuts.
Anyways, my point is that it was still better than the Paul Reiser show.
