The blame for the film’s B.O. failure lands squarely on the shoulders of the marketers. They should’ve positioned it more as a buddy comedy (McBride and Ferrell are hilarious together in it) and less of an action/adventure pic. They should’ve excised Anna Friel from the marketing in general; she’s super hot but basically worthless in this.
That said, LOTL is destined to go down as a cult classic. I freaking loved it.
