The host = Tim Conway
I can’t wait for THE SOUP to mock all parties associated with those dumb Emmytone segments.
A swing and a miss, Joel McHale.
Who’s excited to see Paul Reiser on Jay Leno tonight?!?!
What the fuck is a german muffin?
And yet Zuckerberg still delivered his lines better than Lorne Michaels.
Absolutely. You are your own pyramid of greatness, concert_addict.
35 comments and no Swanson chair throwing gif yet?
I’ll hang up and take my answer off the air.
But it’s nice to see Olivia Munn branching out from being the worst part of The Daily Show to the worst part of NBC comedies*
*not including Outsourced, which is not a comedy.
Ron Swanson’s Bobby Knight sweater > Theo’s Cosby sweater.
I liked “The Town.”
Is this the part of the part of the post where I say “downvote away?” Or should I have said that at the beginning?
Pulk / Pull Up Bars
I thought it was taken from that college kid’s terrible interview with Patton Oswalt, wasn’t it? Or am I remembering wrong? Is Videogum just claiming ownership of the term after that interview? It all seems very weird to me.
But did any of those people have any regrets about appearing on a TV show?
When SNL hired Jay Pharoah, one of the first things I heard was how great his Obama impression was, so it makes total sense that they still have Armisen doing his garbage Obama impression.
SNL episodes are like Weezer albums. They’re not that good, and people know the next one won’t be that good either, but are still disappointed when it inevitably disappoints them (even though you EXPECT to be disappointed). Just enjoy the one or two decent sketches (or songs) in each mediocre episode (or album) and get on with life.

“Just because he is funnier than Leno, doesn’t make him funny.”
True. Being funny makes him funny.
Why do these kids hate Ludacris so much?
Neither of which are superdrag, apparently.
That’s the Karate Kid’s mom. Related: If Sterling wanted to get past Don and fight Pete, he should have gone with the crane kick.
Warren Cheswick. And you can shave my poodle.
I find Louie to be the most honestly thought-provoking show on TV right now. I tend to think of it as more of a drama costumed as a sitcom, and thus your assessment that it isn’t funny isn’t something I would necessarily disagree with. I honestly feel like Louis CK makes an effort to sacrifice laughs for elements of truth that aren’t depicted elsewhere on television.
The homophobic poker game, his fight with DiPaolo about Obama, Louie dealing with the heckler – they all confront the awkwardness and uncomfortable aspects of life in a way completely different from the “awkward” comedy of Curb Your Enthusiasm or The BBC Office. It’s basically a series of dramatic vignettes surrounded by stand-up jokes, and every week when the credits run I always wish it lasted an hour instead of 30 minutes.
NOTE: Benji died on the way back to his home planet.
My favorite part of the video is Tom Green coming out (presumably to calm the masses?) and dancing, then realizing that garbage is being thrown at him, and leaving the stage like any normal person would do. A nice counter-balance from Tila Tequila’s idea to actually take her top off in the same situation.
Tom Green: Voice of reason!

That is a fair point. I think we all know that about Dave. But I still think it seems weirdly unfriendly that Craig isn’t even in the studio to watch the musicians or comedians that perform on his show – they just tape them separately and then edit them after his taped intro.
