I think you are probably right about Gabe recently reading the new Klosterman book. Everyone should read it, for Klosterman is awesome. These guys are just envious that you put the pieces together. Like how Gabe tried to act like Keanu Reeves isn’t immortal because he was ashamed of missing what has been staring us all in the face this whole time.
If, with this post, Gabe is out of date by Rolling Stone standards, then the rules of irony dictate that The Weezers are actually the cutting edge of music and marketing.

“Alex, I engineered my appearance here today to ask you why you abandoned me and Mother to die in the icy tundra so many years ago. Well, Father?”

“Alex, as a longtime supporter of Locks of Love, I felt there needed to be an equivalent that provides merkins…”
Finally, a show that can appeal to a broad-based demographic of hipsters from both New York AND Los Angeles.
Electric Dreams rocks my shit!
And please in no way should this be interpreted as a defense of the performance. Just because I’m not necessarily attributing it to racism does not mean I support it. I could never support anything so painfully unfunny.

Apologies to southernbitch.
