I really was mostly responding to her quote from the book of job which has always been a very troubling book for me.

I think the real problem with this clip is that i find more often that not the media writes off disasters as acts of god and violence as acts of scary outsiders using the human interest angle to avoid the more difficult stories of climate change and a violent culture.

I’m not convinced using arbitrary displays of power is any less abusive than punishing “sins”

Having taken a couple classes on medical and genetic ethics i can tell you that while it’s not an easy decision to make, what she did is definitely not considered unusual in the medical community. Probably the bigger ethical issue here is that the testing is so expensive because myriad genetics has been allowed to patent the BRCA1 gene.

When younger my friends used to hang out at a Pizza Delight owned by a man named Dave. Back then we called him Dave Delight so often that during a recent bout of drunk nostalgia we got into a heated argument about what his real name was.

That bayonet line is really going to hurt Obama with the Bull Moose supporters.

I know science already ruined batman this week so i hate to break this to you but that blood treated with snake venom looks an awful lot like blood that’s been left in a plastic cup for a minute. Don’t ask me how i know that.

My pick for the inevitable canadien version of this list is either the time are prime minister strangled a protestor http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WvjfJ6bAi0U or when the same prime minister took a pie in the face http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=obSuvLrijWo . I really miss voting for that man.

We will just round up the best candidates and see who’s DTF – in favour of downsizing the federal government man! Then I’ll put that C in the Veep, I don’t wanna talk a lot of shit about who it will be but she’s gotta be in the party and she’s gotta be extremist. She has to like me at least a little, enough to run with me. At the very least we will take some pictures together, two weeks shake some hands, month kiss some babies, whatever whatever, and then i make her my running mate. I’ve got like four solid months of campaigning. By the time the electoral college rolls around I’ll be like the Iron Chef of America.

It sort of reminds me when the police force tries to protect corrupt cops. Loyalty and friendship are awesome and sometimes people get unfairly jumped on by the press, but at some point you have to realize a line has been crossed and the person you are defending has gone too far and it makes the whole industry look bad.

Geeze. Between tosh, buchanan and anyone who’s ever yelled dtf i think its time to call it a week guys. Lets all shut our mouths, do something nice for a lady, read some gloria steinem and hope we can start fresh next week.
