I also saw the SF show! Loved every minute of it. I think the smaller intimate venue also made the ticket prices more palatable. But I’m sure timing also has a lot to do with it. We saw the show relatively early on, back in April when he was still off the tv. So I understand how those seeing it toward the end of his tour may find the whole “I lost my show” thing repetitive and stale.
Also at the risk of offending anyone, (or none at all since timing is my weak point) but was I the only one who wanted more Conan singing?
I agree. He may be an obscenely rich celebrity with a big ego, but at least he’s an obscenely rich celebrity who gives a care, and actually wants to help out. Plus looking at the way BP has handled the oil spill so far, they should be welcoming all the help and ideas they can get.
Your two-realities idea makes more sense, and would have been a much more satisfying ending for me.
I totally agree. I’m so glad that most of the YouTube comments have been encouraging… although that may be because the rude ones are pending approval. I like this kid way more than the fruit gushers kid, and I really hope he doesn’t get discouraged and keeps doin his thang so that when true Smell-O-Vision becomes a reality, we can all sniff those candles along with him.
Although to be honest, I unconsciously took a sniff when he held out the lavender vanilla one to the camera. He was that engaging.
