Sorry facetaco, nothing diminishes John Watson/Martin Freeman for me. Not even a game of tic-tac-toe.
Oh that was seriously lovely to read.
Galinda: Mindy Kaling
I feel like I know this astronaut personally. He performed via video link with The Chieftains last week along with several other astronauts (who were on earth). It was a pretty wonderful, only in Houston, kind of evening.
I haven’t found a picture/gif of Carson holding baby Sybil yet and that is very distressing.
Were any other Austen fans excited that the awful Susan (she was a Marchioness?) was Elizabeth Elliott from the 1995 Persuasion? And Mary Elliott from the 2007 adaptation is on Ripper Street? With Mr. Darcy? Everything’s coming up Austen.
Death Was the Only Option is my new band name. Thanks!
I have seen that episode at least 20 times and EVERY TIME it terrifies me.
I don’t care that Shia LaBoeuf one looks 90s-esque. Sam Elliott is in it so my butt will be a in a theater seat for it.
Why must everyone thwart us? The idea of ever meeting His Cumberbatchness fills me with all kinds of fangirl terror, but I think I could manage to be charming towards Sudeikis and he would fall in love with me.
“But I want to marry Jason Sudeikis…” librariansti whispered quietly to herself.
I read “clueless gamer” as ‘Clueless’ Gamer. And was ecstatic for a brief moment.

Candy Land.
We have a library patron who is both facially and vocally an (slightly younger) Alan Alda doppelganger. I have to stop myself from acting like this whenever he comes in.
We have an older autistic man who volunteers for us every Monday and he tells me I look like an MTV VJ from the 90s? Who wore combat boots maybe?
It’s hard to help people who whisper in the library. But it is preferable to screaming, which happens a lot.
Why is this not longer? I want to see her reactions while on the train!
I watched the first few episodes of LBD when it started and then forgot about it. But I’m doing a Bicentennial P&P challenge and want to watch it as part of the challenge, so I’m excited about getting back to it.
It is seriously one of the best parts about being a librarian! Bye kids!
And sadly we did not get to Bingo in time to snag seats so I went home and watched 30 Rock after all!
I want to look/dress/be Busy Phillips sometimes.
My day started off with waking up to discover I was the ‘little spoon’ to my two kittens. So pretty great. Read some stories to adorable monster children and then left them to their teachers. Chatted with the author I have coming to visit the library on Monday and the bookstore we’re consigning books from. Didn’t have to go to a meeting because I have rolled off a certain committee. And started the second to last episode of Fringe (LINCOLN LEE!!)
Tonight I was going to chill with the pets and have wine and waffles alone while watching 30 Rock, but may have to go play Bingo at an Elk Lodge with a good friend instead (damn). So, like I said, a great day!

“It’s hard to tell from the series of stills what the sort of cordiality there was between them.”
English Batman is, of course, politeness itself.
