Hmmm, side note. Does Jessica Biel still count as an actress? Is it still her profession?
It was a weak attempt at a female Dead Poet’s Society, not only was it awful but utterly forgettable.
I didn’t even make it to the end, plus it pretty much felt like they had elevator music as the film’s soundtrack, plus there’s the whole Meg Ryan ‘face distortion’ thing…what was she thinking?
I recall some kind of a “twist”, and some long dance montage. Anything before or in-between has been completely supressed.
Oh my gosh, I have to admit scene number 2 cracked me, cause the sniper robot wasn’t even hidden away..I mean it’s in a cemetery, with only one funeral taking place ( as far as we see), but then there’s the big ol’ sniper robot, which Jamie Foxx actually stares at for the longest of time before it started shooting up..I mean come on.
I passed out within 15 minutes of Love Guru. And I expected to be laughing so hard it hurts ( does that really happen), anyway I second that nomination. If they keep allowing movies like that to be made, I’ll end up narcoleptic.
sigh, I wish I could still say i felt the same…but once they turned him blonde..it was time for me to walk away. But if you’re going strong, I assume you watched his ‘series’ Freddy?
The Hunt, is my favourite film review online. But I beg of you Gabe, please review Bride Wars, it is truly painful, there is zilch humour yet it is advertised as a romantic comedy. And my friend dragged me to the cinema, at night, to watch it. He described it as ‘cute’ and ‘fun’. I should have known better. This is the same friend who’s favourite films include: Marley and Me; Hotel for Dogs; and Wild Child.
I have never been the same, not to mention I passed out during the film, from what I can only describe as a form of self-preservation. Please Gabe. Please.
Pleas Gabe, i know Nicholas Cage is already hated for his films, but you have to review NEXT. That movie was so jaw-droppingly, screwed up…and that’s time I’ll never get back!!

ummm I don’t agree with the comparison of making mel gibson’s racist tirades (stupidity and ignorance) being worse than Polanski’s ‘one bad thing’ ( we are talking about drugging and raping a child…it should never be described in that manner.)
Secondly, no sane person would drug and rape someone. Nor do I believe Polanski’s ‘rough life’ excuses his actions.
Why we’re even comparing the two men boggles me…Mel GIbson actions are wrong but his actions are nothing new..there are tons of bigots, I encounter them on a daily basis, and yes he should be punished but I can’t be bothered to give those type of people undeserved attention.
Roman Polanski’s crime and the fact that he’s being freed is a travesty, and leaves me shocked at how a society can allow him to get away with it. There is no humour to it.
