Well done, Monsters! I came close this week, but twas not to be. But still, very thankful for the 85 upvotes I received! In other bittersweet news, I am starting a new position this week after a year of unemployment (“What recession?”), and am fairly certain my internet time will be limited at best, at the beginning anyway. So if you guys don’t see me around as much, just know this is me, thinking of you.
Podcasts I Listen To The Day They Update: “This American Life”, “WTF”, “Doug Loves Movies”, “Savage Love” (best theme song ever!), “BS Report” (warning: sports), “Firewall and Iceberg”, “Pod F. Tompkast”.
“Nerdist” is good, a notch below those. Like “Fresh Air”, if the guest is good I throw it on immediately, otherwise I wait for a slow day.

Every time I hear it, it gets stuck in my head for like, ever. I hadn’t really heard it recently, so I forgot what an insidious ear worm it really is. It’s going to be running through my head for the rest of the week.
