I went! I thought it was funny and the crowd was unfailingly polite which was neat! The best sign I saw said “Where is the nearest Whole Foods?” but it doesn’t seem like any news organizations got a picture of it. Shame.
Re #2: I was disappointed too. I’m not big scifi nerd (honest!) but I thought it was super fun trying to figure out how the time line split if they all jumped back to 2004 and it turns out they weren’t in 2004 at all, just some weird afterlife waiting room that choose to resemble itself after the year 2004? Boo. But I did love the writers choice to have Boone and Shannon brought back into the story by being thrown into bags of trash. So it all evens out.
I believe the Glee/Community thing is that they are shot on the same set, so it’s basically a big inside joke combined with a insanely self aware show making fun of whatever the hell Lea Michelle and Matthew Morrison are doing.
What about Tim Riggins, Dillon Panther’s Fullback? I think his stoic presence would play well against Conan’s manic energy and he’s great with delivering deadpan lines. Musical talent: Unknown.
Wait can that really be a thing? I will pay all of the dollars to have that be a thing.
