I went on a job interview today and we talked about Ryan Gosling, so if I get the job, it’ll be thanks to him, but if I don’t get it it’s not his fault, don’t worry about it, it’s cool. I can’t have any bad blood between us when we get married.
My reaction is always UGH Vincent Gallo. He is seriously the worst. Even though Buffalo 66 is a pretty good movie, I almost can’t get past how much I can’t stand him.
I don’t care how many bad covers he does or how hammy he gets, I will always love JGL.
I had the exact same dilemma. Then I thought, “Stanley Tucci, he’s great!” So many reasons to be sold on that trailer.
oyoyoyoy. Aunt Petunia be wizarding!
I couldn’t make it past the first half hour of that movie. I thought it would be a good kind of bad but it was just bad bad. And why did everyone dressed like they were going to a rave in 1992? Wasn’t it supposed to be set in the future?
OH MY GOD I forgot about this movie. I saw it in theaters! We had to write a movie review for English class and I wrote about how terrible this movie was and everyone was appalled, they loved it. Did that class not have eyeballs?? SO BAD
This movie made me so happy! Like others have said, it was great to see a movie with great well-rounded female characters, like how Helen isn’t just a bitchy villain, she was honestly trying to make the wedding better and be a good friend. Her relationship to Kristen Wiig’s character seemed like a realistic jealousy over fear of losing a best friend. I really liked that the overall tone was sweet and about the relationships. I know I called my best friend when I left the theater!
Did anyone else think the monologue was very weird? The timing was awful, like he had never told a joke before. Maybe it was nerves? On the other hand, any episode that contains both Jon Hamm AND Lindsay Buckingham is alright with me!
You mean moving to Boston from NYC? I’ll switch with you! That’s how moving works, right?
The whole episode was basically a big British/Gay joke, but that laser cats was very funny. Space Jam 3000? DROZ? That’s all it takes for me.
This movie makes me SO MAD. Everyone in it is so awful. I was in high school when this movie came out and everyone thought it was so deep and really SPOKE to them and listened to the soundtrack non-stop. Because of this movie, I can’t deal with The Shins. Being really really into this movie is a 100% friendship dealbreaker for me. It’s the worst of all the movies that do the “quirky indie” thing by taking a bunch of stuff hipsters would like and vomiting it back out with no plot. Ughhhhhh this movie!
I thought so too. Although I think anything with silly dancing is funny. Like, even though Gilly was a terrible nightmare, I thought the opening song was hilarious because of her dance.
Rereading this comment, it seems that it could be taken as me being sarcastic and mean, but I am 100% dead serious. Bookgum is great and I really don’t want it to die!!
I am also confused and a little scared! I’ve read AHWOSG and The Road and I have no one to tell me what to think about it!!! I feel lost.
I know this is superficial, but judging solely by your picture the answer is YES!
P.P.S I actually read the Big Bang Theory and CSI reviews before posting this and thought they were actual reviews. THAT’S WHAT WE ALL GET, AMERICA.
I didn’t even read all your mocu-reviews! That’s what I get. Well played, sir.
You sure do watch a lot of Thursday tv, werttrew! Thank you for being thorough! Great job today!
I have to say, Parks & Rec just keeps getting better for me. It’s like it took everything about The Office that I got sick of (mostly the uncomfortableness and trying to make Michael Scott the lovable goof and just coming off as stupid) and fixed it in perfect ways. I love that even though Leslie might do goofy things, shes always smart and good at her job and is actually a lovable character. And everything about her and Adam Scott is too cuuuute.
Totes agree. Pretty much the only similarity is that they both contain British teens, but most of my friends have seen and like Skins, so it’s enough a similarity that I can force them to watch it.
I LOVE MISFITS! I try to get everyone I know to watch it and no one will believe me about how good it is. I always describe it as Skins if they all got caught and did community service. Then got superpowers… I always lose people on the superpowers bit, but it’s not even really about that! How great is a show where they all have superpowers and that’s not even (really) the main focus?? SO GOOD THAT’S HOW GOOD
I don’t know, I just feel like Vanessa Bayer doesn’t seem very versatile. She does the same voice for every character. I think shes really funny as Hanna Montana, and that’s about it. I really notice it when she plays one the the Kardashians, Nassim and Abbey Elliott nail it, but she doesn’t sound anything like them, she just does the same voice she always does.
I do agree with you about Jay Pharoah, I can see him getting much better, but for right now, it seems like all he can do is voice impressions.
This whole season has been pretty eh for me. I think it’s that I really don’t like most of the new cast. Vanessa Bayer is AWFUL and I really don’t like Jay Pharoah. I wasn’t too sure about Paul Brittian, but that Eminem this week killed it, very funny. I think the problem with Jay Pharoah is that he gets all the voices perfect, but doesn’t do anything physical, so the impressions just don’t work.
Also, booooooooo Chris Brown
Jeeeeeze did you even see Inception? Those are some lazy references.
I’m sorry for that mean nerd comment. I’m sending myself back to bed. Just like Larry King. (huh?)

SHE’S THE WORST. It’s embarrassing how bad she is at telling jokes. She only has one “joke” voice and uses it for everything.
