Finally someone mentions the violence. I was grossed out as well–perhaps my imagination is too vivid, but there’s not much you can do to soften images of, say, someone coughing up blood after someone throws a spear into his chest? Mockingjay doesn’t get any better in that regard. I felt shortchanged in the ratio of nauseating violence to underdeveloped characters. I must admit the woman knows how to move a plot along at a very addictive pace, even if I wound up not caring much about the protagonist in the end.

Nonetheless, I l kind of want to write “GABE TRAILER-TRAILER” on my jeans now.

I just sat through “How Do You Know” in the theater. I know it’s not on Netflix yet, but as soon as it is, PLEASE. I don’t know what happened to the James Brooks I once loved. UGHHHHHBARF that movie.
