God I HATE film school.
I know a guy in film school who, whenever he makes a new student film, puts a Criterion Collection logo on the DVD cover and distributes it to other film students. People eventually started believing he had DVDs in the Criterion Collection, and he said and did nothing to correct them. I asked him why he did it and he told me it was to “expose the absurdity of the Criterion elite classification”. Mainly it just exposed the absurdity of how big a douche he was.
Look at these people. I’m totally convinced they’re satanists.

Did anyone else think that Shane (Grime’s partner) kind of looks Gabe? Because me and the people I was watching it with thought that Shane kind of looked like Gabe.

I dreamed I met him once. In the dream he was sort of stand-offish, like a celebrity who didn’t want to be noticed.
This is super sad. He was always so adorable on the show. And even tough he was certainly more advanced in years than many, this easily hits me harder than any celebrity death in the last year. Super sad
There is SUCH a good ‘Get out of there’ in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (when Christopher Loyd realizes that the Enterprise is rigged on self-destruct and all his men are on board) and yet it wasn’t included. When I read the title of this post, it was the first scene I thought of, and YET it wasn’t included. They even included a scene from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, to mock me. I read this and totally agree (I know its been like four-hours, but I’ve been checking in for any changes). I I’m not a stranger to depression, and I know the next time I’m feeling desperate that I’ll return to this thread and read through all the optimism and kindness that was offered here. You guys have helped more than one person today, I’m sure 
Agreed completely. That one scene was worth dealing with all the fake banana leafs and all of the paper macher temples combined. BEN GREAT CHARACTER AWESOME STORY ARC.

Sadly, I did check Lostpedia this morning and did find out that Sayid’s brother woke him up at 2:30, which is important because one of the numbers is 23 and the first two numbers of that time is that number. I am basically that nerd from last night and Gabe is basically Kate and he is basically pushing me against a wall right now with shame
I likewise thought Source Code was way overrated. Also, in response to ‘we’re fucked as a culture’; Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Lost, Dexter, Arrested Development ETC. are all modern pop-culture icons to varying degrees and are all TBS Very Good. I think a lot of the originality in entertainment (ironically considering what prompted this post) is coming from TV now, instead of movies, and I think that’s OK.
