as amazing as it was to be there in person, the whole thing was kind of ruined by this asshole who climbed a really tall tree near where I was standing and screamed “what about the babies!? what about babies’ rights!?” throughout the. entire. ceremony. seriously, fuck that guy
Hey Virginia is the South! And North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Mississippi all voted 55 percent or less for Romney… I’m even going to go ahead and call Georgia as a swing state in 2016. Even though my county went 63 percent for Romney (yikes), I’m wildly and (probably) unrealistically optimistic about the south!
ahhh thank you I knew something was bothering me about that photo! it’s like the men are all cyrano de bergerac and the ladies are all dangerous liaisons.
whoa. whoa. so was Boomer. what is going on?
hi. i’m a south carolinian and I am ashamed of all of the above facts, but it would be nice if people didn’t automatically stereotype about everyone from my home state… also, I will personally vouch for the Fashion Shack because. IT. IS. AMAZING.
I read about this in the NY Times

WOW what a charity! I’d like to give them all my money, if that’s possible…
oh my what happened to Kelly’s chopstick post??? did i hallucinate that? anyone?
uggh true Furman story: I go there currently and know some people who recorded their own version of this song…it makes Chet Haze sound like Jay-Z
wow…I am a lurker for at least three years, never commented (because: terrified I have nothing funny to say!) but I just have to say that today was my last day of classes EVER at Furman and I am in awe that one of the star monsters went to my school! It makes me wonder if there are more of us…just lurking around
wow…if you replace watching this terrible movie with watching my grandfather sing mildly racist songs while wearing his sleep apnea mask, than Gabe’s Saturday night/family vacation was eerily similar to mine…

I had a dream a few years ago when Pavement was having their reunion tour that the drummer died and Stephen Malkmus personally stopped by my university to ask me to join the band and I was like, duh, sure.
We went shopping together for clothes for the tour with Tina Fey for some reason and we all tried on fringed leather biker outfits and looked totally great! I was so happy to have Tina Fey and Stephen Malkmus as my new best friends!
