Ricky Gervais is kind to animals. I hardly need to know more to know that he isn’t an asshole. You are trying much too hard to dislike him. He’s smart, funny, kind to animals, and I’ve never heard an account of him being mean to fans, or friends, or his girlfriend, or his mechanic. I don’t know if he’s full of himself or a diva. I also don’t care. I like — no, love — Ricky Gervais. If he’s not perfect, well, who is?
