Stephen Colbert's DNA Flying Out Like Endless Rain Into A Paper Cup

Stephen Colbert is having his DNA shot into space. Sure. From the AP:

The comedian's DNA will be digitized and sent to the International Space Station, Comedy Central was to announce Monday. In October, video game designer Richard Garriott will travel to the station and deposit Colbert's genes for an "Immortality Drive."

"I am thrilled to have my DNA shot into space, as this brings me one step closer to my lifelong dream of being the baby at the end of 2001," Colbert said in a statement, referring to the 1968 landmark science fiction film "2001: A Space Odyssey."

Sure, video game designer Richard Garriott will travel to the International Space Station with Stephen Colbert's DNA. "Hey, video game designer Richard Garriott, I haven't seen you in so long, what have you been up to?" "Nothing much. Oh, last weekend I traveled to the International Space Station with a digitized version of Stephen Colbert's DNA. For my time capsule." "Sure!" Seriously, I have no idea what any of this is about, so I'm just passing on this information to you. I don't know why the world works the way it does. The "2001 baby" joke is funny, though. That guy should have his own show.
