Look At This Old Man Fall On His Old Face!

Celebrity Circus, a reality show about sad people trying to become sad clowns premieres tomorrow night on NBC. It promises to be a dark chapter in the growing annals of debased former stars grasping for the powdered trapeze of reality TV's unflattering spotlight and biting it hard. But for as many arguments that you might make for why this show will be terrible, or what's wrong with America, or how circuses are for perverts, I've watched this promo multiple times and it never fails to make me laugh.

It's really only a matter of time before Kicked in the Nuts becomes reality. Reality TV! Or at least Kicked in the Celebrity Nuts. You would watch that. Lindsay would totally watch that. Just another night curled up in front of the TV with her skateboarding dog.

I'd much rather watch Ow! My Balls than Kicked in the Nuts.

Oh come on, this isn't a new idea. Does no one remember "Circus of the Stars"? Who wasn't on that show? I remember being a kid and thinking that if I ever got famous enough to be a has been, I wanted on the show to be a tiger trainer. I still kind of do.
