The Internet Is About To Get More Terrible And Unfunny

I have horrible news. Seth MacFarlane's streak of inexplicable success continues unabated, and he's moving his dull, unimaginative sense of recycled humor to the internet:

In September, Seth MacFarlane, creator of "Family Guy" on television, will unveil a carefully guarded new project called "Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy." Unlike "Family Guy," which is broadcast on Fox, this animation series will appear exclusively on the Internet.

Google will syndicate the program using its AdSense advertising system to thousands of Web sites that are predetermined to be gathering spots for Mr. MacFarlane's target audience, typically young men. Instead of placing a static ad on a Web page, Google will place a "Cavalcade" video clip.

Ooph. It's hard enough dealing with Seth MacFarlane's regular amount of cartoon comedy. I don't know if I can handle a whole cavalcade. And it looks like Google is going to have to finally lose their "Don't Be Evil" slogan.

You guys, I don't wish physical harm on anyone, but I hope Seth MacFarlane's new web series gets hit by a bus.

i was in college, people were experimenting, it was a heady time, the early 00's were.
