"Glenn Beck missed the boat when it sailed toward intellectual maturity, and now he's rowing furiously in pursuit, waving a pirate flag." Freakin' hilarious!

That tweet is the reason I call shenanigans on this Twitter account. I like Roger Ebert, and that's funny, but it doesn't really sound like him.

Yeah, I call bullshit. Way too prolific and trying a bit hard. My money's on this internet prick dude. One of the only people "Ebert" is following and a self promoting douchenozzle who has been claiming Ebert is real on multiple occasions. Plus I think Ebert is one of the good guys, and it hurts to think he might be a twitter twit.

This is the most skinny I've ever seen him. He's looking good. In other At The Movie news, I noticed that they dumped the two dipshits Ben Mankiewicz and Ben Lyons and went back to the two guys who used to sub in for Ebert when he was sick. 100x better show.

Get out of my head, Gabe!! I just joined Tha Twitz (#amazingnicknamesfortwitterstartedbyme) and was very happy to find how funny Ebert's Twitter is. Neil Diamond has one too. NEIL DIAMOND. That's why the internet was invented. So I could be one @ away from Neil Diamond.

Yes my friend, but it's a double-edged sword (I heard that in the Breakfast Club): the internet also brings you one @ away from Dustin Diamond.

It's legit. He talks about his tweeting and links to this account from his official site at the Sun Times: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20091006/OPINION/910069997

Nice internet detective work. I think his most recent tweet seals the deal as fakery:

"I saw a movie so bad, I stopped taking notes on my iPhone and started playing the little chess game."

No way Real Ebert™ wrote that.
