Why So Hellboy II?

It's hard to get too excited about Hellboy II: The Golden Army with all this Dark Knight going on in the world, oh and because the first Hellboy was JUST OK. Still, it is coming out soon, and I think there's some rule where you have to like everything Guillermo Del Toro does now because of Pan's Labyrinth. Except for Cronos. You are still allowed to hate Cronos. Anyway, Hellboy II: The Golden Army clip, guys (via LatinoReview):

I guess I'll have to go back and read the graphic novel that's supposed to fill in the gaps between the two movies. You know, the one where it explains how Johann became Triumph: The Insult Comic Ectoplasmic Spirit.

I think the rule is that his movies suck if they have people speaking English, and they're good if Spanish is spoken. But then again, I actually like Cronos, so what do I know.

Ted Danson is looking good these days. This is a much better role for him than that Becker character.
