Kids Cook The Darndest Things

thumbnail icon: Kids Cook The Darndest Things

From the kitchens of babes (I'm the best):

Bravo announced today the development of its new creative competition series "Top Chef Junior" (working title).

"Top Chef Junior," which will be based on the Emmy-nominated hit culinary series "Top Chef," is an eight episode series where teens (likely ages 13 to 16) will compete to see if they have what it takes to become a junior "Top Chef."

No, this is a really smart idea as long as Bravo learns the hard lessons of Kid Nation, and makes sure there aren't any soda bottles full of bleach lying around and that Divad isn't allowed within 10 feet of a potato.

I would also advise against any challenges involving pork chop sandwiches.

I'm excited about this latest trend. I'm particularly looking forward to Who Wants To Get To First Base with a Millionaire and Flavor of Like Like.

Gabe, I can't begin to tell you how much I want you to live blog this show. Your coverage of Kid Nation made my life! I watched that show religiously just to see how you would attack The Beast, Divad, Sophia, Alex (ugghh I know them all) I may or may not have made tee shirts with Jared's picture on them! I can't believe they cancelled it! What's a little bleach among pre-pubescent pioneers!
