2001: A Laff Odyssey

Everyone loves a good mash-up, sure, but the true testament to a mash-up's power is if you LOL without even knowing what half of it is.

The Daily What got this pretty much exactly right:

Turns out some dude won the Internet two-and-a-half years ago and we've all been trying for naught.

Yeah, League of Gentlemen was pretty big in the UK a few years ago - before Little Britain, British schoolkids just used to run around shouting 'Hello Dave' at eachother.
