That's Your Future Girlfriend: The Little Girl Robot

Ugh, gross, there's a robot in Japan that's based on a five-year-old girl. Hopefully the real five-year-old-girl is not as creepy and drugged-up as this robot:

(Via Best Week Ever.) Why would they unveil the robot in that condition? Couldn't they wait until it was functional? And wait, why do we need a robot based on a five-year-old girl? Five year old girls can't do anything. My refrigerator can perform more handy tasks than a five-year-old girl. That robot is going to grow up to be the half-price real doll of some middle-aged dude in Nevada.

In all honesty this maybe one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen in my life. The only thing that might come close to being this disturbing is if you combined Pain Olympics, Two Girls One Cup, Sarah Palin, Saw 1-19836718635, Hostel 1-12386412, 4 girls fingerpaint, 2 girls 1 finger, The GOP, Lemon Party.org, Meatspin, and of course Satan in true form.

Elliot

I find it interesting/amusing that what may become one of the earliest and primitive examples of a lifelike robot, looks like it has down syndrome.
