Kids Make Electronic Music About UFOs The Darndest Things

(thanks for the tip, jeeeeesus)

This young man, Nigel, age 10, created this video as part of an after school project in Montreal that teaches children how to make electronic music. There is an article about the program, and Nigel, in the latest issue of Naked Eye, whatever that is.

Sure. After school program. Clearly this is part of the secret Canadian project to create an army of SuperHipsters for the hostile takeover of North Brooklyn. You have to get them while they're young so that they're completely charming and unmakefunable. Success. This kid is awesome. All yr future of Williamsburg is belong to him. How do you say "pwned" in Canadian?

Good way to ruin my dad: make me envy a ten year old.

Oh wait, I ruined my own day.

If you go to the video on YouTube its poster NakedEyeMagazine has another kid's video up. It is a love ballad and it is almost as awesome as this one.

His dad definitely did his homework for him. Also, his dad was in a band with "Wolf" in the name.

I heard he had to do a project for his third grade Pop Culture class. The theme was "How Tom Cruise and his cult Scientology influence other stupid thespians." He did a decent job. I give him an A.
