John Oliver And The Apocalypse
I have a friend who hates John Oliver for some unexplained, indefensible reason, and today happens to be her birthday. So here's a funny video the Daily Show correspondent did this week (to pimp out his friend's book, Apocalypse How, but it's actually pretty funny.) In the context of a fake weekly show, John Oliver's Literature Rodeo, John reviews The Bible: "This whore of Babylon character -- where's the backstory? Did she start out as an exotic dancer of Babylon? Is there a pimp of Babylon we should know about?":

i was never a huge JO fan (i should be more specific: John Oliver fan), but his last Daily Show report (monday? tuesday? web video doesn't have a SCHEDULE) about valid and invalid excuses for invading countries. Also, the way they lit him, whenever his head dipped a little he had a Hitler mustache shadow on his lip.
