What Has Two Thumbs And WILL Be Seeing Zak Snyder's Watchmen

Hint: I'm lazy at jokes. But this looks great.

I know Alan Moore is really down on movie adaptations of his work, and granted 300 kicked me backwards into a pit of derisive laughter, but isn't it time the world finally had a superhero movie it could get excited about? Get it? Because of Batman? HBO stand up comedy special, please.

Watch the trailer in HD here.

300 was a Frank Miller adaptation. V for Vendetta was Alan Moore - and one of the worst movies ever. Watchmen will probably suck just as badly - it was a pretty lame graphic novel.

Waitasec - I found 'im. The penultimate "everything generally held as good that you like sucks" person. Give me a second & I'll start a slow clap for you before you go back to watching "Strange Wilderness".

THE GRAPHIC NOVEL KICKED BUTTOCKS! you're bitter.
Also, i saw the video before it went down, it was pretty mediocre. I heard that they are playing a watchmen trailer before the dark knight, so....go see batman!

I'm pretty sure he mentioned 300 because it's the same director as Watchmen, not because he thought it was an Alan Moore book.

The graphic novel is the fucking shit. I want to know what your idea of 'good' graphic novels are before I can snort derisively at you - and you'd better not be saying Sin City or Sandman or some shit like that. This movie looks like it's going to make me cry with shame - seriously, they couldn't get a director better than zack snyder to do this? or any actors that are remotely recognizable? dr manhattan looks cheesy as hell. and why the fuck does rorschach talk like Gob Bluth?
