Well, They Fucked Up The Punisher Again

Trailer for the new Punisher: War Zone movie, guys:

Well, at least someone got some use out of the old Moulin Rouge soundstage. I was under the impression that a series reboot was supposed to create new interest in the franchise, but this Joel Schumacher candy-colored Batman & Robin have tits bullshit is doing nothing for me. At least the last iteration of The Punisher, with its El Mariachi meets Face-Off vibe, was filmed in human colors. Doesn't The Punisher deserve a faithfully gritty film? Shouldn't we be looking further back to the 1989 version with Dolph Lundgren and Louis Gossett Jr.?

Now that is a movie. Red pins represent justice. So many red pins in the board!

It's like a festive party...a festive vigilante party. Maybe blood will be all neon pink and flow from the city's fire hydrants in a choreographed musical number scored by Coldplay's Chris Martin.

I saw this movie. It was called "Boondock Saints". However, I don't recall a flimsy terrorist attack as part of the plot.

i thought i was the only one who liked The Punisher 1989.
anyway, the Punisher should be like Rambo but in an Urban setting. Ray Stevenson looks too soft to be a convincing Punisher.

wrong. even if the guy playing the punisher looks like christopher lambert in a time machine, this movie wins merely on the strength of this line from the trailer: "Sometimes I'd like to get my hands on God." (Spoiler: he chokes god to death)
