Um, Lindsay Lohan's New Comedy Looks Kind Of Funny

There's a trailer for Labor Pains, the new comedy starring Lindsay Lohan and Cheryl Hines:

When did that happen? Someone insured Lindsay to make a movie and it doesn't look that bad! Sure, the Law And Order line doesn't make sense, but this looks like it has the potential to be better at least than Waitress or Baby Mama. Is Lindsay back in Mean Girls mode?

Don't worry, It's only funny because of Chris Parnell and Cheryl Hines.

Yeah, I may love Chris Parnell....but "Trust me, you don't look like you've been anywhere near a condom." That's that hilarious one-liner they close the preview with?

So what looks "kind of funny?" The part where she pretends to be pregnant? Or is it that one part, where she pretends to be pregnant?

Couldnt deal with the terrible emo music at the end.

The 1/2 second clip at the end of Lindsey kissing some guy screams the "I really want to bang this guy but I'm pretending to be pregnant so I can keep my job! OMG! What am I going to do?!?!" sub-plot. Fail.

Wow, dude, where did that dig at Waitress come from? That was a pretty great movie -- and it didn't have Lindsay Lohan, which automatically makes it better than this movie.

Yes, that's Chicken Little! How'd he get in a movie? From Amerian Idol to movies with Lindsay Lohan, it's the American Dream.

This is why Chris Parnell hasn't been doing Dr. Spaceman lately? So not worth it!

Parnell was also in the brilliant but cancelled Judy Greer vehicle (there's your reason, unfortunately) Miss Guided. Hence the lack of Dr. Spaceman.

Also, who ends a trailer with "now in post production"? Seriously!

Still, I'm glad that she's working, because that means she's had to stay sober for an hour or two a day.
