Those People With That Fascinating Amputee Fetish Now Have Their Own Movie

thumbnail icon: Those People With That Fascinating Amputee Fetish Now Have Their Own Movie

The amputee fetish community that first gained notoriety in a 2000 Atlantic Monthly story seems like it would lend itself more to a documentary than a thriller. But here's the new trailer for Quid Pro Quo, which stars former child star Nick Stahl as a wheelchair-bound public radio reporter who follows an anonymous tip into a shady world of people who get paralyzed or amputated on purpose, and the people who love them. It co-stars The Departed's Vera Farmiga as a femme fatal whose fantasy is "to shut the curtains all day and walk around in (her) Milwaukee brace," whatever that means.

Watch closely for the cameo by Heather Mills. Just kidding. Ugh.
