The Book Of Eli Trailer Watch it here. It's basically like Cormac McCarthy's The Road, except instead of "fire" being a metaphor for humanity a bible is a metaphor for a bible. Also, machete-kata.

I refuse to watch this movie for the sole purpose that Denzel Washington is trying to protect humanity's one remaining hope..... the Bible.

Nope. Sorry. i will not get Left Behind again.

This basically looks like Fallout 3: The movie.
That said, I want to go there.
(To the movie theater, not the post-apocalyptic wasteland)

i can't wait to see the end of this, where Oldman finally kills Denzel, finally gets to know what the book is about and goes all "WTF!? what is this "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" crap. we need food FOOD, book, FOOD!! we lost twelve dudes trying to get this thing, thinking it was maybe some kind of survival guide, or a map to a warehouse full of twinkies, or whatevs; and it's just... what? some poor man's "Lord of the rings"? GET THIS OUTTA MY SIGHT!!"
and they just use it to start a small fire so they can cook a rat and pass the night without freezing to death
