The Director Of Snakes On A Plane And Final Destination 2 Still Allowed To Make Movies! Kind Of!

HAHAHAHHAHA. Sorry, Alexandre Aja, who cares about spooky mirrors when this exists. Asylum red band trailer, you guys:

I remember in college how hard it could be to hide your mysterious past. My mom was always dropping me off in front of abandoned asylums and being like "are you sure you want to do this?" and I was like "mom, this mysterious past isn't going to hide itself." I'm just glad there was that one credit survey course in exploring spooky buildings that allowed me to graduate. The worst part about college though was always getting locked in the glass shower stalls. There's simply no way to get out of those.

I give this movie two needles in the eyes.

your next post about this move is inevitably "who is buying all this asylum?"

It's like Girl Interrupted + Goonies, now with less 'sloth' and more Hostel.

I am legitimately really excited for this movie, and, while that may or may not merit honor suicide, it's the truth. While Snakes On A Plane was a horrible dissapointment, Final Destination 2 tops my list as one of my favorite teens-get-slaughtered movies of all time. It's the best.

Thank you for letting me know about this, I'm probs gonna re-blog.

Hell yeah, the Final Destination movies were good and Asylum doesn’t look too bad. It can’t be any worse than Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake.

I concur with everyone who thinks that FD2 was one of the best horror movies of the new millenium. But the reason I'm commenting is because of this sentence:
"Mom, this mysterious past isn't going to hide itself."
I come to Videogum for to stay abreast of the exciting and glamorous world of viral videos (where do they get such wonderful viral videos?), but I stay for the turns-of-phrase like this. Bravo.

You don't want to know how many times I've watched "Snakes on a Plane." I want to watch this movie solely because it has some kind of connection to SOAP.
To be fair, I only bought it because it was in the bargain bin.
