My Best Friend's Girl Red Band Trailer Has One Notably Funny Moment

There's a new red band trailer for My Best Friend's Girl, starring Kate Hudson, Jason Biggs, and Dane Cook as Tank, a guy whose job it is to act like an asshole (good casting) but who then becomes a romantic lead (never). I'm embedding this for three reasons:

1. Because when I saw Step Brothers and there was a line making fun of Dane Cook, the entire theater laughed and some people applauded.

2. Because can you believe how cliche every single joke in this trailer is? The movie is rated R, and I don't think there are any 17-year-olds who haven't already heard the "It's not going to suck itself" line. (I mean, in the context of jokes!)

3. Because Alec Baldwin is in it, and he's still god, as evidenced by his very funny line at the end:

I'm sorry about the first two minutes (That's What He Said), but that Alec Baldwin line is awesome. Not actually-seeing-the-movie awesome, but awesome.

Peeves

Wasn't this movie made before? Like Hitch? Or those other movies Dane Cook was in?

I'm preemptively nominating it for the Worst Movie of All Time.

if you look up typecasting in the encyclopedia of Everything, there's just gonna be a picture of Jason Biggs.

Was Good Luck, Chuck nominated for WMOAT? I'm sure someone mentioned it. Watching it made me feel dirty. I felt like the awful had seeped into the pours of my skin.

As for Best Friend's Girl, I think it's great that he's starring with Kate Hudson AND Jason Biggs. Let's hope this movie tanks so hard we never have to see their low to moderately talented faces on screen anymore.

um sadly i think this bites one of the worst movies ever "Breaking all the Rules" with Jamie Foxx. Where he teaches all his friends how to break up with their girlfriends, but he ends up trying to get with them.

In other words what mobster does Alec baldwin owe and why is Jason Biggs rick moranis minus the funny.

Sorry but I like Dane Cook and think this movie looks relatively funny. It's not like you could do anything better.
