Kristen Stewart Has Another Movie To Not Care About Soon

The trailer for Adventureland, from the director of Superbad, just came out:

It actually looks okay, despite an overly-familiar-to-the-point-of-self-parody trailer treatment ("Blister In The Sun," for REAL?) Maybe it's the presence of Ryan Reynolds in seemingly the same character, but it looks kind of like Waiting. Waiting meets Dazed And Confused meets Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist meets Elizabethtown, or something. No word yet on what Kristen Stewart will bring to the manic pixie dream girl role here, but I can't wait to watch her try to promote it. (I don't know why I'm so mean to K-Stew -- maybe Twilight just sucks and she's not willing to outright lie about it. Maybe when she gets back from her Russian Road Trip she'll have it all figured out.)

I can't tell if I'm about to vomit or if I'm mildly interested. Both?

"Did you ever think of a beautiful woman and then think... KRISTEN STEWART DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN?"

Anyways. Why does this have to be '87? Can't they set a comedy now and make it, you know, like funny? Like, hmmmm, Superbad?

I've seen this movie. It's actually pretty funny and also carries a little more impact than Superbad. That doesn't mean that it isn't almost your standard "the summer I'll never forget" movie. It just has better actors and a better script than most.

Automatically awesome because I went to Adventureland, a crappy theme park in Des Moines, as a child.

Driving me crazy. Kristen Stewart is the spitting image of another movie star who is quite a bit older the she is. Come on somebody, who is it?
