New trailer for the new mumblecore movie, Nights And Weekends, from the director of Hannah Takes The Stairs, which again stars that annoying yet mesmerizing chick Greta Gerwig. It's about relationships and how they're hard and how everyone between the ages of 18 and 35 has the same disturbing lazy verbal tics:
I'm not going to complain about this movie. You know why? Because I watch The Hills, that's why, and nobody who watches The Hills can complain about basically the exact same concept but with slightly smarter and less fake tanned people who have each read at least one book. This type of movie falls under the category of "Too Realistic To Enjoy." It's like watching myself sit at home with my own girlfriend, maybe with more fighting or awkwardness. Then, the inevitable "are we like that?" thought processes, etc. It would be sweet if one of them was a robot, or from the future. One laser gun would maybe convince me. Otherwise, no.
