Hollywood Puts Its Imagination On Lockdown

A new Quarantine trailer, you guys:

Hollywood Exec 1: Hey, Chief, what if we made Cloverfield, but with zombies?
Hollywood Exec 2: You mean like a giant zombie that destroys Manhattan?
Hollywood Exec 1: That's great, Sport. Let me call upstairs.

[5 minutes pass]

Hollywood Exec 1: I called upstairs. They loved it.
Hollywood Exec 2: Awesome.
Hollywood Exec 1: But they're not gonna do it.
Hollywood Exec 2: Oh.
Hollywood Exec 1: But they said you could have one handheld camera, and access to the old Barton Fink set.
Hollywood Exec 2: What's the budget?
Hollywood Exec 1: 45 dollars.
Hollywood Exec 2: Hmm, that means only one zombie baby, but maybe if we film it from two different canted angles we can make it seem like two zombie babies.
Hollywood Exec 1: [Holds hand up for secret "fuck the audience" handshake.]
Hollywood Exec 2: [completes secret "fuck the audience" handshake.]

This actually seems to be an exact remake of a Spanish film released last year. The Spanish version is titled "[Rec]" and is actually a very startling and thrilling film. I'm REALLY surprised to hear about this version, then. All the scares seem to be in exactly the same places, with an almost direct translation of dialog, so... Boring?

Really good if you don't mind subtitles.
