He's Just Not That Into You: The Next How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

thumbnail icon: He's Just Not That Into You: The Next How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

It's always weird when a non-fiction article or book is optioned as a fictional movie (Fast Food Nation, Adaptation) but this trailer for the movie based on the self-help book He's Just Not That Into You, starring Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson, and Ginnifer Goodwin as five women who each realize a dude is not that into them actually looks pretty funny. And How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days was surprisingly good. He's Just Not That Into You, as an ensemble comedy about dating that is largely told through montage could go one of two ways: the Singles way (awesome) or the Love Actually way (terrible). Let's hope it's Singles, because we need a good vagina movie next fall. You know, what with the election.

Seriously, Singles is great still. It really holds up.

Hope you mean the Cameron Crowe "Singles," because Netflix has another one listed made in 2004 that looks like a Papi movie.

hmm... written by the folks who gave us TV's Miss Match... though also directed by veteran Freaks & Geeks helmer Ken Kwapis. If they can keep the cutesy fakieness to a minimum... how will this not be a big hit?

The voice on Drew Barrymore's machine sounds an awful lot like Paul Rudd. But I don't see him in the credits for this movie on IMDB. Who is that mystery man?

I think its Justin Long, but I listened three times and it does sound like Sweet Sweet Paul Rudd. But a little younger and more Justin Longy.

The truth is if a trailer has a Cure song in it I will probably go see the movie.

Gross. You love Greg Behrendt. You yearn for his frosted tips and precisely groomed soul patch. But alas, Greg Behrendt just isnt that into you.
