Drop What You're Doing: Derrick Comedy

If you live in the New York City area, you should head over to the UCB theater tonight and check out a "top secret" show from the guys in Derrick Comedy. They've made a bunch of hilarious internet videos and will be leaving the city soon to shoot their first feature length film, Mystery Gang. Now's your chance to get in on the ground floor! Actually, if they're already shooting a feature film you probably missed your chance to get in on the ground floor. Now's your chance to get in on the first or possibly second floor! But then one day one of your friends will see them at a pizza place across the street and come into the bar and say "Hey friends, I just saw Chloë Sevigny Derrick Comedy in the pizza place across the street!"* And you'll be all like, "What is this, 2008?"

*I saw Chloë Sevigny at a pizza place last night. JEALOUS?

You know, I was kinda iffy on this site - for about 4 seconds. I clicked on the homepage was a like, "weeeeeeellll".

Then I got to the second news item, here, and I've fallen head over heels. You guys are phenomenal. Amazing. Lovely. Gorgeous. Simply the best.

I love Derrick Comedy. Fuck the ground floor - I was in the basement. Maybe even the foundation itself. I've been a fan since there Agent Tom Rogers videos. I have all of mc DJ's stuff. These guys are like, heroes to me. Superheroes, maybe.

*geek mode off*

Anyways, just wanted to put that out there. I'll be reading you guys for quite sometime now.

Other than that, I'm loving Videogum - quite engrossing and enjoyable. Keep it up!
