The funniest thing about that clip is the fact that it's been viewed over 100k times, almost all in the past 24 hours. People saw it on the news and immediately thought of Austin Powers. I love America.

It's so true- my friends and I were watching football and the news interrupted with a report about the shoe throwing incident (which, I now call my Christmas present-THE BEST) and we all turned to eachother and said- who throws shoes, honestly- it was funny and also so very, very, sad.

The guy who played Random Task is a rapist apparently, and there are videos of him being punched in the balls in some UFC fight. Follow me down the rabbit hole ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57Mva-3n7TY

I had just heard of this today (so behind the times, I'm sorry, Internet) and "Honestly, who throws a shoe?" was the first thing out of my mouth.
A running gag in my improv troupe is to throw shoes during one sketch called "Half-Life", so that was the other big gag today- "Same scene, 30 seconds!"
