Really? Deregulation is Bush's fault? Really? Hmm, have you heard of the Financial Services Modernization Act? Do you know when it was implemented? 1999. Last time I checked, Clinton was president in 1999. Do you know what the the Financial Services Modernization Act did? Repealed the Glass Stegall Act of 1933. Both republicans (Phil Gramm, Alan Greenspan) and democrats (Bill Clinton, Robert Ruben) are guilty for creating the most volatile environment we have seen. You know the main reason for opening this door? To allow the largest, and illegal financial merger the world has seen: Citi, Smith Barney and Travelers thus creating CitiGroup. You know why CitiGroup was created? To allow the various financial sectors to operate under the same umbrella. You know what this allowed? CitiGroup to initiate subprime lending. You know one of the groups behind the pressure for this? ACORN. You know who was one of the attorneys for ACORN? The current President of the United States, President Obama. So you see Bush is not the master mind behind deregulation all the talking points say he is. All he did was add fuel to the fire by blindly throwing 350 billion dollars into the banking industry without asking where it will be going.

As for Katrina, you really want to go there? Let's see there, in 1878 there was an act: 1878 Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits federal troops from conducting domestic policing without approval from the local government. Bush asked Governor Blanco for permission to provide federal government assistance. You know what Governor Blanco said? I need 24 hours to think about it. So then in comes Katrina and Bush gets blamed for the lack of local government control.

Do I like Bush? No. The man is a disaster. Anyone that throws 350 billion dollars into a corrupt, deregulated industry is a moron. Plus the whole situation in Iraq has not been handled well. Regardless, I am tired of people not actually knowing the facts when they start spewing hatred from their mouths. "Someone told me this so it has to be true" has gotten ridiculous.
In my opinion we seriously need to give our government a severe overhaul. We need to put term limits on congress. We also need to drop our two party system. I have to choose the lesser of two evils when I vote. I don't want to take away a woman's right to choose, but at the same time I don't want a large government. And those are my options. I want more options. I don't have only two options when I buy a car or buy a home. Why am I limited to two options?
Come on people, grow a pair! Everyone is treating President Obama, yes I said President Obama, although I did not vote for him, he is STILL MY PRESIDENT, like he is the best thing since sliced bread. You know what? He actually, on record, had last experience than Sarah Palin, yet she was spotlighted like a moron. Good Lord, look at the options we had, a man and woman that neither had experience to run an entire country (although she was up for VP and not president), a career politician with a trash mouth, no tact and no real ideas and goals for the country and a career politician (whom I do commend for his service) that has failed before getting the presidential nod. Because the media glorified President Obama, that is the change we need? Wow! Ok! Now dont get me wrong. I feel President Obama could do a lot for our country. Then again, he could also completely screw up the country. FDR get credited for fixing The Great Depression. If he fixed the Great Depression, why did it take years and why did it revert before it got better (Recession of 1937)?
Now back to the video. If you look at the video, no one shook his hand, then again, he did not extend his hand to anyone either. If you watch the man before him and the one after, I see a couple people getting skipped over with them as well. Did no one mention those?
