Barnacles!: The No Cussing Club Kid Gets Death Threats

(Full disclosure: two of my friends own No Cussing Club tshirts, because they're orange, and because ironic tshirts will apparently never die.) McKay Hatch, the youngster who started a True Love Waits-type club, but for not cussing, is suddenly getting so many death threats that the FBI has gotten involved. He has also been sent thousands of dollars worth of pizza that he didn't order! The Fox And Friends people talked to him this weekend:

I'm not going to learn the names of the Fox And Friends friends, but what was that one guy going to say about "barnacles"? "Testicles?" "Testicles" is not a cuss word, "cheeky" Fox guy.

isn't saying "oh pickles" the same as as saying "oh fuck"? it's what one is trying to express that's important, not the way we express it. it's hypocritical to create alternative exclamations of anger or pain, and if they caught on pretty soon we wouldn't be able to say "pickles" or "barnacles" on television.

Well on the one hand, one could start ranting about how this kid is just shifting his words to mask his true intent: Such as in Elf when, "Cotton Headed Ninny-muggins" was said. I kind of just think this is a noble endeavor that this kid is going to make a decent pile of money off of.
