If you were to judge by the banner ads on most websites, including this one, you might easily think that Choke was a bigger deal than The Dark Knight. That banner ad is all over the place! Well, maybe it is a bigger deal. We have absolutely no way of knowing whether Choke is as big or bigger of a deal than The Dark Knight. Perhaps someday someone will invent some kind of system to track how big of a deal things are. Dare to dream.
Anyway, Choke, based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk and starring Sam Rockwell as a sex addicted con man who works at a colonial theme park, is coming to theaters this Friday. And by posting this red band trailer, which you probably saw months ago, rent is coming to our landlords this afternoon (sorry about being so late with the rent, landlords).
NSFW, BTW.
Choke is rated R.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Fujifilm for a third and final time for all the hard work they've done this summer paying our rent. We really appreciate it. Seriously. We are terrible people who appreciate almost nothing, but know that we appreciate this. We'd also like to thank Fujifilm for offering our readers so many great contests. Seriously. Because we are contractually obligated to thank them. Just kidding, Fujifilm, MORE RENT PLEASE. Anyhow, this final contest is about the convergence of fashion and technology, with a Grand Prize that will send someone who actually knows stuff about the convergence of fashion and technology to New York City to sit on a panel of experts. So naturally who better to inspire people than a couple of idiots who dress like a pile of dirty laundry and still use WebTV to check their Telnet accounts?

We once again interrupt Videogum's usual posting schedule of viral fart videos and behind-the-scenes Jennie Garth news in order to display our second post that is an actual advertisement. Fuji won't quit with the contests. In case you are worried that we're tarnishing our reputation as the single most dependable blog source for Animals Having Sex With Other Animals And Also Trees by having corporate sponsorship from time to time, please know that we could have gotten into bed with way worse advertisers than Fuji. Like, Phillip Morris. Phillip Morris loves our site, but we said "Sorry, Phillip Morris, no way, you're too yucky." Just kidding. If you're reading this Phillip Morris, let's talk about a sponsorship deal. Baby needs a new pair of iPhones.

We interrupt Videogum's usual posting schedule of Speaking Truth To Trampoline Accident Videos in order to display our first post that is an actual advertisement. For real, guys. Not like when we inadvertently engage in the capitalist system with "Netflix that shit" or "movie trailer, you guys." This is a real ad for a real contest by Fuji that we are so glad is an ad for a contest by Fuji and not by, say, Preparation H, because, as you will see after the jump, we were asked to create our own video entries for the contest, and if it had been Preparation H the videos would be even more unwatchable than they are now, which is just mildly unwatchable.

Last weekend, something strange happened. Some of the Videogum Monsters created their own secret, password-protected chat room. In 2009! Incredible! I suppose every monster has his cave, or whatever. As it turned out, though, we already had a Videogum Chat...
