What Was That Weird Goat Thing At The End Of How I Met Your Mother?

So on last night's How I Met Your Mother, the inherent "Who is the mother?" mystery of which is like Lost for people who are too lazy for Lost, featured a scene that had been teased throughout the show, showing what a taken-in stray goat did to Ted's bathroom during his 30th birthday party:

So it's a clue, then! We now know that exactly one year from this episode, Robin will either live with Ted (the scenario they're trying to tease), or will leave such an intimate item as a washcloth at his house. Also, the goat will still be living there as the Marcel-the-monkey of this new version of Friends. (You can watch the full episode, which is so-so but worth it for the John Adams parody and the Ted/Barney breakup scene, here.)

The goat won't be living there all year because none of the goat stuff happened on his 30th, it all happens next year. If she is living with him, the two conclusions are that they start dating seriously again, OR, more likely, she loses her job and has to move in with him, causing tension with a relationship he is in.

WTF with not even showing his new girl in this episode at all. They can bring brittany in any time they want, but the one actor I actually want to see is only spoken of, never seen.

BTW, what does the "Awesomeness" motivational poster say in barney's office?

I re-watched the episode last night, and I think I'm still right about the goat thing because there are several scenes that involve both the goat turd and the secret Marshall is keeping about Barney and Robin. It's making my brain hurt a little, though.

I wish.

I agree with Jamie Kennedy (and everyone) that heckling people when they are on stage is fucked up. So don't do it. But the idea that people who criticize you in writing is the same thing and that they should be silenced, or even confronted, is ridiculous. Maybe the problem is that Jamie Kennedy can't afford the ointment for his vagina anymore and it's making him grumpy.

Isn't Stella Sarah Chalke's character, who has been shown? Just trying to clear up further confusion before it starts to feel like we actually are talking about LOST.

Stella, the girl who was mentioned last night, is the doctor from the Britney episode who has a daughter, so she can't be the mother. The kids would know if they had an older half-sister.

I don't know if it was huge clue to the next season as much as it was just a good anti-climax to the goat mystery and in a wider sense, a mockery of the fact that old Ted is able to tell his children ridiculously accurate stories from his past.
