Don't Miss Salma Hayek's Cleavage On 30 Rock Tonight
Who would ever have pegged 30 Rock for the show with the most cleavage this side of that E! show about Hugh Hefner's girlfriends that I'm too proud to know the title of? The show's biggest (only?) flaw is the fact that Liz Lemon's character would never dress that way for work. As pointed out by Golden Fiddle, the best part of this preview of tonight's episode (more like "the actors talking about tonight's episode") is Alec Baldwin's off-the-cuff Salma Hayek impression:
I disagree with Mr. Fiddle on the subject of guest stars, however. As nice as it is to see Toofer, et al, racking up SAG card points (because that's how SAG cards work), I'd rather watch Alec Baldwin bounce his giant acting ball off the dog from Frasier than politely endure yet another workplace sandwich rivalry, or whatever. Not that those aren't also great, they should just be, like, a spinoff.

I love 30 Rock, but I hate the NBC announcer.

for whatever reason, i misread the title of the article in conjunction with the article and thought that the clip was going to be of alec baldwin's off-the-cuff impression of salma hayek's cleavage which, i imagined, would involve him pressing his upper arms against his suit, squeezing, and leaning forward, EVEN THOUGH i have been seeing what i knew was this exact same clip in cabs for the last 2 weeks.
such is the power of dreams.

I'm sure this won't make me any friends, but does anyone else think the constant reliance on "guest stars" for this show is just a bit re-got-dang-diculous? Occasional stunt casting is one thing, but its getting so you have to wear a helmet and flame retardant clothing to watch. Just make a funny, interesting show and enough with the celeb crutches otherwise they're about three "very special appearances" away from achieving "Will & Grace" levels of cameo desperation.

I agree, it seems the show has focused so strongly on Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and the week's big guest star that even Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski have been left in the dust, let alone characters like Pete and Frank. When they do finally get around to Frank and especially Pete, it feels like there's a bit of a sag because the writers have yet to really develop strong characters for them.
I'm looking forward to the show tonight, but after that Christmas episode (Worst. 30 Rock. Ever) I'm more cautiously optimistic than I am out and out certain of hilarity.
